CEO has worked as Attorney & Counselor at Law for many sizes of companies as well as working for many large law firms in Egypt.


 Educational Achievements:

Obtained “Ph.D.” in International Corporate Law, Cairo University, Faculty of Law – Post Graduate Studies, Commercial Law Department (July 2013). Dissertation for the Doctoral Degree “Ph.D.” in Law, with the subject of: (The Legal Regulation of the Transnational Corporation – “A Comparative Study”).

Obtained also Masters’ degree LL.M. in 2005 from Cairo University in International Investments Commercial Law consists of Diploma in Private Law and Diploma in International Investments Commercial Law. Under the Egyptian educational system, two diplomas are equivalent to a masters’ degree provided that one of them is in Public Law or Private Law.

Obtained LL.B. from Cairo University in 1999 and Masters’ degree LL.M. in 2001 from Cairo University in International Commercial Arbitration from Cairo University consists of Diploma in Public Law and Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration.

Obtained the Professional Certificate in Legal & UN Translation (PCLT) during September 2006 – July 2008 from the American University in Cairo (AUC).

 Arbitration Cases:

- Currently, CEO Participates at many of arbitration cases in both positions as the plaintiff or the defendant;

- Representing an Egyptian investor in submitting an arbitration case before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), according to the Bilateral Treaty on the Promotion, Protection and Guarantee of Investment concluded between Egypt and UAE on May 11, 1997, ratified by both countries, in order to claim the amount of AED 71 million as a compensation for damages to the investor from the expropriation of his investments in the UAE. The arbitration case has taken the first procedures on November 28, 2011, but it has not yet filed because of the high costs of fees relating to the arbitration center and the arbitrators' fees;

- CEO Participated as one of the defense team to defend of Founoon Holding Company B.V.I. (British Company) in the arbitration case No. 447 of year 2005, in Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), this case litigated by Al-Motahida for Computer Systems and Programs Company to claim 15 Millions U.S.D. as contractual compensation and obligation. The Arbitration Panel has decided in its award dated February 5, 2008 -in our favor- the termination of arbitration procedures, the decision was based on that the parties did not pay the arbitration fees;

- CEO Participated as one of the defense team (drafted more than 95 % of the written memoranda) to defend of Arab Company for Arts and Publishing in the arbitration case No. 432 of year 2005, in Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA). This case litigated by Golden Pyramids Plaza Company to claim 63 Millions L.E. as contractual compensation. The Arbitration Panel has decided in its award dated July 9, 2006 –in the interest of us- that no financial obligation shall pay by our company.


 Round Tables:

CEO Putted draft of law to amend the Penal Law in some articles particularly articles of adultery, rape, and abduction.
It discussed by many of professors, lawyers, judges, jurists, representatives of the Ministry of Justice, members of Supreme Constitutional Court in Egypt, of the Egyptian People’s Assembly, of Human Rights Organizations and of Civil Society Organizations.
Participators as drafters such as Doctor Professor: Fawzia Abd Al-Satar (Cairo University), Doctor Consultant: Shoukry Al-Dakak (Appellate Court), Doctor Consultant: Hossam Farahat Abo Yousif (Supreme Constitutional Court) and Doctor Consultant: Mahmoud Ghounaim (Supreme Constitutional Court).
Three round tables sponsored by the Alliance for Arab Women's in Egypt (AAW) and the Center for Egyptian Woman’s Legal Assistance (CEWLA) in Nile Hilton Hotel, Cairo, Egypt, June 12, 2004, December 22, 2004 and December 27, 2004.
